Welcome to Speech Stars!

 

We are a private speech and language therapy practice serving the greater NC area. We currently serve patients in the following NC counties: Alamance, Caswell, Durham, and Orange. Speech Stars focuses on speech, language, and feeding therapy services for children ages birth through school age. We primarily serve clients in our two office locations (Mebane and Yancyville), but we also serve children in their natural learning environments of daycare or preschool from time to time. We are state licensed and nationally certified for providing speech, language, and feeding therapy services and are qualified to evaluate and treat a variety of disorders and delays including:

  • Apraxia

  • Feeding and Swallowing

  • Oral Motor

  • Fluency

  • Voice

  • Pragmatic delays

  • Auditory processing disorder

Our Approach:
Speech Stars, PLLC was founded by two clinicians that are passionate about providing the best quality care possible. The clinicians at Speech Stars love learning about and implementing new treatment methods and bring all they have to offer to your child and your family. We believe in individualized treatment and fun, engaging therapy that includes both the child and care giver from beginning to end.
We believe the best therapy outcome is when the clinician follows the child's lead while providing direction and positive encouragement.

Nationally Accredited & State Licensed

We are nationally certified and state licensed for speech language pathology and are qualified to evaluate and treat a variety of speech and language disorders and delays including language delays, articulation and phonology delays, Apraxia, pragmatic delays, auditory processing disorder, and other communicative disorders.
